Boroughbridge Primary School and Nursery
Our School Day
The school is situated near the town centre on York Road. We provide education for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11 years.
We offer a breakfast club Monday – Friday from 7.45am – 8.45am at a cost of £ 3.50 per day.
Our teacher-led nursery is open open Monday – Friday from 08:30-15:15 (Term Time Only).
Reception and KS1: 08:45-15:15
KS2: 08:45-15:20
We are fortunate that the school has substantial grounds and buildings and is therefore able to provide:
- two play grounds and an EYFS area
- extensive playing fields, garden area and reflection zone,
- forest school area,
- large assembly/dining hall,
- gymnasium,
- library,
- 9 classrooms
Parents as partners
We strongly believe that parents and teachers need to work in partnership in order to achieve the best for our pupils. We therefore promote close partnership between home and school. As a parent you will play an active role in your child’s education. We offer a variety of ways in which you can access information about your child’s progress, we have an ‘open door’ policy and all of our staff are always available to talk to you about any aspect of your child’s development or school life in general.
