Our School
The school is situated near Boroughbridge town centre on York Road. We provide education for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11 years. We are fortunate that the school has substantial grounds and buildings and is therefore able to provide:
- two playgrounds and an EYFS area,
- extensive playing fields, garden area and reflection zone,
- forest school area,
- large assembly/dining hall,
- gymnasium,
- library,
- modern catering facilities,
- seven spacious classrooms and a nursery
We have a drop-in breakfast club for Reception to Year 6 which runs from 7:45-08:45. We offer a variety extra curricular clubs run by teachers and external providers.
Our Nursery
We are committed to the Nursery being an integral part of the school, led by a qualified teacher. Through a teacher-led approach with care at the heart of everything we do, we provide an age-appropriate curriculum alongside opportunities and experiences which support and enhance children’s development. Our Nursery is open Monday – Friday from 08:30-15:15 (Term Time Only). Please take some time to read through our Nursery Brochure.
Parents as partners
We strongly believe that parents and teachers need to work in partnership in order to achieve the best for our pupils. We therefore promote close partnership between home and school. As a parent you will play an active role in your child’s education. We offer a variety of ways in which you can access information about your child’s progress, we have an ‘open door’ policy and all of our staff are always available to talk to you about any aspect of your child’s development or school life in general.
