FOBS
Meet the team
FOBS (Friends of Boroughbridge School) is a committee of parents, carers and staff who are working hard on behalf of the school. For more information about upcoming events please follow us on Facebook. The friends intend to raise funds to support the ongoing financial commitments of the school and organise social events for the school community. FOBS will be organising numerous events throughout the school calendar.
By supporting and helping the events held throughout the year, you can help provide resources and experiences for your child and their education. The events throughout the year will sometimes be held for whole families, as well as just for the children. Please try to join us as often as you are able and allow your child to participate often. If you have time to spare, either on a regular basis or occasionally, there is always something to do, so please let the FOBS know so we can contact you when we need help. All ideas are welcome.

I am Rachel and I have two children currently attending Boroughbridge Primary School in Year 5 and Year 2. We have lived in Boroughbridge for just over eight years now. Before having children, I worked as a Primary School teacher in Teesside. I now run my own business from home as a knitwear designer. I’m looking forward to contributing to a renewed sense of community at Boroughbridge Primary School through my role in FOBS.

My name is Laura and I have two children at Boroughbridge Primary School in Year 4 and Year 6. I have always lived in Boroughbridge and even went to Boroughbridge Primary myself…a long time ago! It was a no brainer for me to get involved with FOBS as I really enjoy organising events, coming up with new/fresh ideas and meeting others along the way. Helping to provide funds to benefit the children in our school has been so rewarding to see and be a part of.

Hi, I am Zoe, I have two children attending Boroughbridge Primary in Year 5 and Reception. We have lived in Boroughbridge for nearly two years, joining the school in January 2022 and we love the community here. I began working within the school as a helper in January 2023 and enjoy working with all the children. I have had the pleasure to help fundraise and see what the funds have gone towards over the past year and look forward to continuing for many more years to come.
